Become pro at packing
- The main rule of a moving company when packing is "if it fits in a box, it belongs in a box."
- Use appropriate boxes for moving. This will save you time when your movers are packing and moving your belongings. Remember, Time is Money!
- Make sure you use enough protection. This includes clean newspaper, bubble wrap, paper towels, etc. This will help protect fragile items.
- Do not leave empty spaces in the boxes, this is to prevent the boxes from crushing. You can use clean newspaper to fill those empty spaces in your boxes.
- Here is a list that could help you decide what kind of boxes you should use for your moving service:
- Small box: used for packing Books, Magazines, canned Goods, Tools, and other small and heavy items.
- Medium Box: Used for packing Pots, Pans, Plasticware, Small appliances, or linens. DO NOT use for books.
- Large Box: Used for smaller non-moving boxes, Kids toys, Blankets, Bulk items, Etc. DO NOT use for books.
- Dish Pack Box: Used to pack Dishes, Glassware, or anything that may need extra protection.
- Wardrobe Box: Used to pack hanging clothes. Do not forget to take advantage of the extra space at the bottom of the box. This will add firmness and will save you a box or two!

Save money during your move.
- Dispose of all unwanted items before your move. Perhaps have a garage sale? After all, it is much easier (and cheaper) to carry cash than furniture!
- Make it easy for your movers to contact you! Make sure that your phone is on and loud on the day of your moving service.
- Please have a parking spot available for the moving truck. Searching for a place to park takes extra time and therefore generates additional cost.
- If you currently live in or plan on moving into a building with an elevator, reserve the appropriate time slot for your move. Busy elevators are very costly!
- Take all jewelry, coins, money, firearms, or valuables to a safe place before your move.
- Secure pets in an area where they will not affect the Movers.
- All boxes must have a closed lid and must be secured with tape.
- Mark boxes with delicate contents (Ex. "FRAGILE"). Pack them with sufficient padding according to the contents within.
- To help move your boxes quicker, stack boxes four to five high for easy hand-truck access.
- LCD, LED, OLED, or any modern television must be packed in their original container or in a container that offers the same degree of protection.
- Valuable artwork must be properly packaged in boxes or crates with bubble wrap and labeled "ART" or "FRAGILE".
- Please empty all dressers of any size. This will prevent any structural damage.
- Please disconnect your washer and dryer (if being moved) before your movers' arrival.
